Celebrate UN Day!

On October 23, 2011, the S. CA chapter will celebrate United Nations Day with like-minded
organizations at an event organized by Soka Gakkai International (SGI-USA).

Representatives from USNC-UN Women will be discussing CEDAW and
SGI-USA Women will be speaking about the "Century of Women."

Musical performances by SGI-USA Pearl Chorus and SGI-USA African Dancers.

An Event in Honor of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights Day
the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence

Join the S. CA chapter and LA friends of USNC-UN Women on Saturday, December 10, 2-4:00 p.m at the Feminist Majority Foundation Offices, 422 S. Beverly Drive, Beverly Hills, CA 90212.  Local groups are invited to bring literature and share optimism for global women and ourselves.

Refreshments will be served.  Speakers TBA.
