2013 USNC-UN Women Member Meeting and Annual Conference
June 6-9 - Sarasota, FL
Join us as we celebrate the men, women, young people and businesses who have made a difference in the lives of women locally and worldwide. This year's member meeting and annual conference will take place at the Lido Beach Resort in Sarasota, Florida. Visit this page again soon for the conference agenda and registration information.
Events
Join us on June 1st for our Annual 5K Walk to Eliminate Violence Against Women and Girls worldwide! Registration will start at 8:30AM and we will leave Gateway Park by 9:30. We will end at Dupont Circle with music from Batala.
Each walker is encouraged to raise at least $100 although you may decide to collect much more! Walkers who raise this much will receive a USNC UN Women shopping bag as a token of our thanks. Registration is $15 (before 5/26) and $20 after. We encourage you to walk as teams, fundraise though our page (https://www.firstgiving.com/usnc/dc-walk-to-eliminate-violence-against-w...), and wear purple. Make it festive! The top three fundraisers will receive donated prizes.
All donations are tax deductible and go towards the UN Trust Fund to Eliminate Violence Against women. Some employers may match your gifts. Be sure to ask your office if they match gifts!
