Georgia Chapter of U.S. National Committee for UN Women

About Us

Since its founding in 2004, the Georgia Chapter has strived to promote the mission of UN Women to:
  • Reduce female poverty
  • End violence against women,
  • Halt the spread of HIV/AIDS among women and girls, and
  • Achieve gender equality in democratic governance.

Working with government agencies, other women's organizations, and local media the chapter has brought and continues to bring, awareness to women's issues at home and around the world.

The Chapter's annual fundraising and educational events help to drive awareness, increase membership, and raise funds to support the many ongoing projects supported by UN Women throughout the year:

Please join us in creating a world where women and girls live free from violence, poverty, and inequality.
