More soon!

Here we are with a common idea - Everything we do matters. Our actions make a difference. We can only go so far and do so much alone. Together we are a big bold noise for the empowerment of all women, everywhere.

We are free to act as never before. We are connected and fired up and we no longer need to act as individuals but together we can DO more.

Melding issues into ideas and actions, we employ our rich culture, our art and cinema, music and dance here in LA to address our concerns, expand our reach, evince the spirit of reciprocal enthusiasm!

We will reach across the gaps to build awareness and affect change to the betterment of women at home and all over the world.

Honored by the USNC for Outstanding Achievement in 2016

USNC L.A. for UN Women was founded in 2012 to connect the lives of local women & their endeavors to live the change they want to see in the world with the broader goals of UN Women.

We partner with public and private organizations and businesses here locally to create events to raise awareness and engage our community for the empowerment of women.

Through our signature programs and events, we seek to engage the broader LA community to the cause of women and girls.

From Local to Global. The Greater Los Angeles Chapter, a division of the US National Committee for UN Women, is dedicated to building an inclusive community of like minded people, who endeavor to live the change they would like to see in the world.

Our chapter focuses on innovative engagement to spread the cause of UN Women, and its message of equity & gender equality for all.
