The Istanbul Convention: strengthening the response to ending violence against women

During a CSW side event on 4 March, UN Women Deputy Executive Director Lakshmi Puri commended the Istanbul Convention as a “gold standard” and welcomed it as an important addition to the evolving body of norms and standards for ending violence around the globe.
