The National Capital Chapter of the
US National Committee for UN Women
is looking for volunteers to join its all-volunteer organization!

Come find out more about opportunities to get involved at our
Volunteer Information Session
Tuesday, Sept. 27, 7 p.m., at 1120 20th St. NW, Suite #720.
Light refreshments provided.

The National Capital Chapter is currently looking to fill the volunteer board positions of membership, communications, event coordinators, secretary and a coordinator for the Annual Walk to End the Violence Against Women and Girls. In addition, the Chapter is also looking for volunteers to help with a variety of different tasks, including helping to organize the US National Committee for UN Women's Annual Conference, which the chapter will be hosting in Washington, D.C., in 2012.

Joining the National Capital Chapter as a volunteer or board member offers the opportunity to give your time and talent, but it is also a chance to grow professionally and exhibit and further develop your skills, learn more about UN Women and connect to like-minded professionals. If you are interested in volunteering in some capacity and just want to know more, we encourage you to attend the Volunteer Information Session. Chapter’s upcoming events will also be discussed.

Please email any questions and RSVP to Liga Plaveniece, Chapter President, at nationalcapital@unwomen-usnc.org or just drop by.
