Georgia Chapter Stomps out Violence with it's 9th Annual 5k Walk

On Saturday, May 18th, a day threatened by rain, record numbers visited Piedmont Park for the 9th Annual 5k Walk to End Violence Against Women.  Walkers enjoyed free massages, had their blood pressure measurements taken,  faces painted and crafted with their children.  Before the walk, participants warmed up with Katherine Beard to some great tunes to get them in the mood.  Several walkers raised funds to fight violence and received gift cards.
