  • Session 1:  Power of One Organization – Panel of representatives from socially conscious organizations who have implemented programs that have empowered others
  • Session 2:  Power of One Individual – Panel of individuals who have impacted women’s lives in such countries as Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Guatemals, and Sierra Leone
  • Lunch with Keynote Speaker – Maria Guelfi, UN Women Program Specialist, Latin America and the Caribbean Section
  • Session 3:  Power of Youth – Round Table Discussion about how young people can, and do, make a difference in their own community
  • Session 4:  Powerful Positions Abroad – Panel of professionals who have served in various capacities abroad share the opportunities in and requirements for international work experience

After an inspiring day, we hope you decide to continue the conversation with other conference participants at a casual evening reception from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.   You can register for the reception when you sign-up for the conference.

And, for your convenience, a block of mini-suites has been reserved at the conference site, the Lido Beach Resort, located on the Gulf of Mexico.  The special conference room rate is $179 and includes the resort fee of $20.
